I only wrote one entry about the Beastie Boys last year, so my absolute love and adoration may not have been apparent. They were a HUGE part of my childhood, teen, and young-adult phases of my life. From feeling like a bad ass listening to Fight for Your Right to Party at age 7 in my friends camper trailer, to sharing my love for Sabotage with that hot skater from another school in ninth grade, to just knowing that summer is here when you'd pull out that mixed tape full of nothing but BBoys ( and that one song Fallin' from The Judgement Night soundtrack for some reason...it's a really good song). I have so many memories......Thank you Beastie Boys and Adam Yauch.

R.I.P. Adam Yauch - I don't like this at all...
Found out about half an hour ago. Local radio station delivered the news, twitter confirmed. I am sooooooo sad. Devastated. NOOOOOOOOOOO.....nothing can break my beloved Beastie Boys. NOTHING!! Let alone death. The melancholy lays heavily on my shoulders.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
Decided to do something different this year and hand out Valentine's cards to the homeless, the less fortunate or the oft forgotten. So far I have managed to hand out valentine's to a taxi driver, two security guards and a random stranger who looked down and out. Check out my twitter for more info. Metro Winnipeg picked up my tweet and it's in the paper today. Feels great!!! using social networking to make a difference. This is more like it, this is more me. Sooooo happy, best Valentine's Day EVER! And it's only just begun.
