MODs - Wolfina

I really hate the whole wolf motif in clothing, linens, wall hangings, paintings, art, any of that. So I decided to use this hatred to create - and it worked.  I found a wicked wolf t-shirt at Giant Tiger last summer but never really got around to do anything with it until I found these cute little iron-on decals by Sukie.  They're so cute and fit the theme perfectly. 

I plotted out my creation and took a photo to remember the placement of the iron-ons. The necklace bling  is an iron-on that I found at Dollarama. They had a pretty awesome selection of tacky decals. Surprised? No.

Voila!  Doesn't she look beautiful?  And I christen her Wolfina.

This is Wolfina in action.  All-in-all a successfull MODification.  One thing - I would have changed the placement of the "Woof" but never really tried the shirt on to see how the iron-ons would look against my body.  Still ,I'm happy with the results. I wore Wolfina out a few weeks ago to a show at The Pyramid to rave reviews.This is my sis rockin' the wolf.  Woof Woof.

My Messy Dresser

I came across this picture when I was going through some of my Hawaii photos.  I absolutely DO NOT remember taking it and my bf swears he never did so I guess our house ghost has something to say about how tidy I am. Hmmmph.  I have cleaned it up a bit since, but barely.  I like the crazy, colourful, photo-shoot spread I've got going on here.  I know everything that is on here, each item has its place. Bottom line: I need a bigger dresser.

Beastie Boys: Fight For Your Right - Revisited

Ahhhhh the Beastie Boys - How I love them so.  They're the reason I still have a thing for guys in hoodies.  They released this video before they dropped their new album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two and it's frickin' awesome. It's chock full of celebrity cameos; Danny McBride, Seth Rogen and Elijah Wood  (above) play the boys and the rest of the cast is a mouthful.  I remember this one time when I was 19 and I was driving a friend and her latest guy to the LC to get some booze and I put on  the Beastie Boys, naturally it was summertime, and the guy was complaining about the music.  "Hang on I'll put a good song on" I said and the guy retorted  - "No such thing with the Beastie Boys".  My friend and I looked at each other and shared an understanding, that this guy is no longer going to date her because how could she be with someone who couldn't appreciate the greatness that is the BBoys?!?!?!? For a split second I contemplated kicking him out of the car. Seriously, my love goes that deep.

 

The Colours of Hawaii

I went to Hawaii recently and had the absolute, best time of my life.  It was beautiful.  And my body clearly loved it too!! Never have I been so soft, my skin just soaked up the moist air and  I rocked a wicked tan; my hair loved the humidity and never once did I sneeze or cough, an everday/hour occurence in Wpg, frickin' dry air. Hawaii - ahhhh it was love at first sight. I also bought a camera down there. A Nikon Coolpix S4000. It's awesome! 600 photos or so later..enjoy.
